Research Services Offered

-We can do specific look-up requests: i.e. getting copies of census records, birth
certificates, death certificates, land records, wills, military pension records, as well as
many other records which might be available in the libraries, courthouses, and other repositories of information in North Carolina.


-We can collate and build an attractive family tree for you using current
and new information
obtained in the research process.

various branches of the family
emigrated to within the
United States.

-We can help you to discover what
your ancestors did for a living.

-We can help you to discover what
religion your ancestors practiced.


-We can help you to find the gravesites where
your ancestors or other famiy members are
 buried.


-We can help you to find lost relatives, alive or
dead, whose whereabouts are not currently known.

-We can help you to connect with other "cousins" who may also be researching your
 branch
of  the family, and who may be able to provideyou with more information about
your family.


-We may be able to help you prove or disprove persistent and lingering family legends-
stories you may have heard about 
your
ancestors-things like: your ancestor was an
 officer in the American Revolution, your great-grandparents were Native American, or
 maybe that your ancestor was a Methodist circuit rider-these are just a few examples of similiar stories you may have heard in your own family.

-We can make special research trips for you to any courthouses or libraries in Virginia
 or South Carolina  (see fees below)

Specific lookups (i.e. census,
marriage, or death records) $25.00


5 Hour Research Project 
$150.00


10 Hour Research Project $275.00

20 Hour Research Project $520.00

 30 Hour Research Project $750.00


 40 Hour Research Project $950.00




Research Trips

Virginia Research Trip

Research is conducted at the Library of Virginia in Richmond, or at any
relevant Virignia county courthouses or county libraries (this will be a
8 hour block of research time).- $350.00

South Carolina Research Trip

Research is conducted at the South Carolina Department of Archives
and History in Columbia, South Carolina, or at any relevant South Carolina
county courthouses or county libraries (this will be a 6-8 hour block of research time).- $350.00


Copies of Documents

color copies .30 ¢

black and white copies .10¢

photo or document scans $5.00 per page

Shipping and Handling

  for up to 1 lbs. $5.00

for up tp 2 lbs. $6.00

 for 2-5lbs.  $9.50

 for 5-7 lbs Extra charges wil apply for
special services i.e. priority, UPS, FedEx,
express mail, etc.
